We were camping at the nearby KOA Kampground, and all anyone could talk about was how great the ice cream was at Fruit Punch. "You gotta go have some of the ice cream!" they all said. So that evening we made our way up to Fruit Punch for some ice cream, expecting to be blown away. What we found when we got there surprised us, but I guess it really shouldn't have. They did have a nice selection of ice cream, but on every 3-gallon tub was marked "Breyer's" ??? What? THIS is what everybody was raving about??? Breyer's ice cream? Heck, we can get that at the grocery store!
We went ahead and ordered anyway and it WAS good, but nothing special. And I will say two things about Fruit Punch, 1) They are not the ones who were going stupid crazy over their ice cream; it was the idiots at the pool who were doing that and 2) they give VERY generous portions of ice cream in a waffle cone, so you need only order one scoop because that is plenty!
On another note, they have a full menu with all sorts of things on it that looked yummy, but we didn't have any of those things so I can't comment on them. Seems like a nice enough place, though.

It is close and convenient,  that's about it.  Food is mediocre,  service was forced.... and over 10% fee for myself to use a M/C is robbery , if the food wasn't already overpriced I would be fine with paying half of the cc fee... also, the lady kept saying with a condescending tone.."I'm Sorry" even when it didn't apply, that was very bizarre ..  they are ruining what could be a great business,  too bad!
    I won't be back

I had recently left one star because of a bad visit but ordered to-go today and it was night and day from my first visit. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. It was pretty good. I like that you can just walk right up to the window outside and pick up your food.

Though the portion size was on the small side, in my opinion (one should not expect to still feel hungry after eating a Reuben) the sandwich tasted fine. The fries left a lot to be desired. The service was also fine. None of it was enough to prompt me to write a review. My rating (which would otherwise have been a 3) is based on the incredibly unpleasant experience I had simply paying my bill.
First, the cashier, rung up the amount and it came in quite a bit over what I was expecting. ($27 for two sandwiches and a drink). When I questioned this, she seemed perturbed and then re-rang the order, which then came out to $47. At this point, she realized something was wrong and rang it up for a third time, growing increasingly angry.  This time the total came to $19.50, which seemed about right, but still a little high. Then I noticed the cash register showed an amount over $20 and I questioned it. The cashier became very unpleasant. "It's 75 cents to use the card", she said very sternly.  "Ain't you ever been here before?", she questioned in a very accusatory tone. I said that I had not (while thinking that I was certainly not inclined to return.). I asked to review the total which was still not visible to me. She grew even more irate, muttering half under her breath that I am somehow accusing her of being dishonest. When I reviewed the charges, there were two items I did not expect. One, an upcharge for onion rings rather than fries, and the other, 35 cents for water (then there was the 75 cents for the card). It all came to just over $20. She handed my receipt while continuing to mutter angrily. I said that I wanted to leave a tip on the card and she replied, "It's too late for that".  I have eaten at thousands of restaurants and never experienced anything like this.  It may come off like I'm being petty or vindictive, but I'm just letting people know what they might be in for. Ciao.
(I upgraded my review from 1 to 2 stars because I just recalled that I had a sandwich there last year and things went more smoothly)

The service here was some of the worst I've ever seen. Inattentive waitresses got our drink order wrong twice then when we said forget it she said people don't order half unsweetened tea half lemonade in the south. Felt totally unwelcome here and the food was awful.
